By accessing the TUFO website or other digital platforms, as well as by filling out requested information for the purpose of participating in TUFO activities, you will be providing your Personal Data, which implies knowledge and acceptance of the conditions contained herein, and you are authorizing the collection and processing of this data in accordance with the rules defined herein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TUFO clarifies that simply browsing or accessing the website and\/or other digital platforms it uses does not imply the collection of your Personal Data or cookies. Personal Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal Data is any and all information of any nature, regardless of its format, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An individual is considered identifiable if they can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or other factors specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the means mentioned above and in accordance with the purpose mentioned below, at least the following Personal Data may be collected: (i) name, (ii) date of birth, (iii) contact details (telephone, address and email), (iv) company represented, (v) children's health data regarding allergies and eating habits, medication needs and other health-related data and (vi) other relevant personal data (collectively, the \u201cPersonal Data\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Responsible for processing Personal Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entity responsible for collecting and processing Personal Data for the purposes mentioned below is TUFO, a private, non-profit association with its registered office at Rua Casal dos Ninhos 2 - 2nd Floor, 2665-536 Venda do Pinheiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you believe that any information contained in this Privacy Policy is not clear and transparent, or for any other reason you deem relevant, you may contact us at the following email address:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:sernafloresta@tufo.pt\">info@tufo.pt<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Purpose of processing Personal Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collection and processing of Personal Data by the aforementioned means is intended for: (i) sending, upon request by the User, information about the activities carried out and (ii) registration for the proposed activities (collectively, the \u201cPurposes\u201d), so that filling out the form corresponding to each of the Purposes constitutes express and prior consent to the processing of the Personal Data provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the User expressly and previously consents to the processing of their Personal Data, TUFO undertakes to process the Personal Data to the extent and for the time necessary to achieve the Purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this regard, TUFO does not request or encourage the submission of Personal Data relating to philosophical or political beliefs, party or union affiliation, religious faith, private life, and racial or ethnic origin, as well as the processing of data relating to sexual life, including genetic data, so that, if you provide them to TUFO, TUFO cannot be held responsible for their processing under the Privacy Policy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without prejudice to other forms of contact with TUFO, the User's failure to provide Personal Data prevents TUFO from considering them for the purpose of sending information\/registrations or other information, as applicable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Retention of Personal Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The length of time during which Personal Data is stored and maintained varies according to the Purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, Personal Data processed for information requests may be kept for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose. Personal Data processed for the purpose of responding to information requests and\/or registrations will be kept for a period of 1 (one) year after the last contact with the Personal Data subject, without prejudice to longer periods being applied when the situation justifies it (and proportionate to such situation), namely to safeguard the rights of TUFO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and right to data portability of Personal Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The User is guaranteed, at any time, the right to access their Personal Data, as well as its rectification, erasure, portability, limitation and\/or objection to processing \u2013 in this sense, they may exercise any of these rights by writing to TUFO via the following email:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:sernafloresta@tufo.pt\">info@tufo.pt<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without prejudice to the foregoing, the User shall always have the right to submit any complaints they deem appropriate to the competent authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Security in the Processing of Personal Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal Data will be processed and stored electronically and on paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TUFO is committed to ensuring the security and protection of the Personal Data you submit to us through the website, having adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures for this purpose, namely: (i) password protection, (ii) use of digital certificates, (iii) firewalls, (v) secure communication via https protocol. TUFO informs that these security measures are reviewed and updated according to needs and the state of the art in these matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of a security breach that accidentally or unlawfully results in the destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, Personal Data, TUFO will notify the competent authorities without undue delay and, whenever possible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, in accordance with applicable law. Similarly, TUFO will notify the respective Personal Data subject of the Personal Data breach, in accordance with applicable law.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notwithstanding the security measures adopted by TUFO, we advise Users that they should adopt additional security measures, in particular, ensuring the existence of an active firewall, and updated antivirus and anti-spyware software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Communication of Personal Data to Third Parties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TUFO, in the course of its activity, may use third parties to provide certain services. These third parties may be located inside or outside the European Union.
